Madness at Kimball Mill

Wow, what a day. We had the big 4th of July breakfast this morning for our ward and our neighboring ward. There was supposed to be a speaker at 7, and at 8 (or so we were told) the speaker was supposed to finish and then we would have a breakfast. Well, I was out setting up a few last tables when I see a steady line of people coming to get breakfast. Oh yeah, it was only 7:25. So, for the next 2 1/2 hours we tried frantically to keep up with the food demand. I'm glad that we'll probably never have to do this again. Well, then I drove Jenny up to Bear Lake. I have to stay home for work. We made the drive from B-town to Bear Lake in just under 2 hours. Our average is 2.5. I'm not really thrilled about the prospect of going back to work after a day like today, but what can you do? I'll be heading up to Bear Lake on Friday night. So, I'm going to be home alone for the next few days. This is the first time that Jenny and I have been apart like this since we've been married. I hope I can sleep at night. Updates on that later...

I saw on your profile that one of your favorite books is Game of Shadows. I have been interested in reading it. What were your impressions?

I'm still reading it, but I was blown away by how much drug use is going on in sports. Oh, and Barry Bonds is an absolute scumbag.
