...and just like that, summer is almost gone

Wow, it seems like summer just started, and now it's almost gone. Jenny and I have done a lot this summer; camping, swimming, boating, 4-wheeling...the list just goes on. The end of this summer is going to be a new experience for Jenny and I because Jenny is pregnant! Ha, got ya. Not really. What I mean by new experience is this will be the first time when the end of summer won't mean that we're going back to school. We're probably going to have a little celebration on the first day of school. Sorry to those of you who DO have to go back to school. Just remember: it's all worth it, there's a big payoff at the end, yada yada yada. Here are some pictures from our summer. More to come...

Madness at Kimball Mill

Wow, what a day. We had the big 4th of July breakfast this morning for our ward and our neighboring ward. There was supposed to be a speaker at 7, and at 8 (or so we were told) the speaker was supposed to finish and then we would have a breakfast. Well, I was out setting up a few last tables when I see a steady line of people coming to get breakfast. Oh yeah, it was only 7:25. So, for the next 2 1/2 hours we tried frantically to keep up with the food demand. I'm glad that we'll probably never have to do this again. Well, then I drove Jenny up to Bear Lake. I have to stay home for work. We made the drive from B-town to Bear Lake in just under 2 hours. Our average is 2.5. I'm not really thrilled about the prospect of going back to work after a day like today, but what can you do? I'll be heading up to Bear Lake on Friday night. So, I'm going to be home alone for the next few days. This is the first time that Jenny and I have been apart like this since we've been married. I hope I can sleep at night. Updates on that later...
